Little Rock firm, Stage I Diagnositics, receives large research grant

Arkansas Business has reported that Stage I Diagnostics received $241,336 federal grant to further develop a screening tool for ovarian cancer. Stage I Diagnostics is a biotechnology firm developed by BioVentures, UAMS’ business/research incubator. Dr. Tim O’Brien has helped guide AROVCC in the area of up and coming research of ovarian cancer within Arkansas and has been instrumental in the international search for an early diagnostic test.
